Choose this paper-led route when the pack needs a paper surface and a defined heat- or cold-seal layer. The exact coating, layer build and machine settings decide whether the material will feed and seal reliably.
The production route is confirmed per SKU. Paper-based printing and converting may be performed by XLD; coating, lamination or other structure-specific work may use partner manufacturers.

Selected automatic-packaging applications that require a paper feel, print surface and a defined sealing route. This defines contact, protection and pack-geometry needs.
Exact layer build, paper grade, coating or seal layer, total thickness and required barrier function This defines the material and supplier route.
Machine model, heat-seal or cold-seal route, jaw design, temperature/dwell/pressure and speed These inputs define feeding, forming and seal requirements.
Web width, repeat, core, roll diameter, unwind, artwork, eye mark and surface finish These inputs control registration, slitting and changeovers.
Provide the number of SKUs, quantity, destination, document needs and sample or trial stage so XLD can prepare a realistic quotation and validation plan.
Confirm feeding, print registration, seal initiation, seal appearance, opening behaviour and finished-pack performance.
Choose another route if: A promise of high sealing without the coating, structure, jaw conditions and acceptance test being defined.
MOQ and timing depend on the confirmed material, structure, printing, roll dimensions, quantity, production route and current material availability. XLD does not publish a Specialty capacity figure or guaranteed lead time.
Barrier, seal, food-contact and environmental statements remain conditional until the offered structure and applicable evidence are confirmed.
